Ambient Water Quality Criteria for Dissolved Oxygen, Water Clarity and Chlorophyll a for the Chesapeake Bay and Tidal Tributaries

STAC coordinated a peer review of the draft ambient water quality critera for dissolved oxygen water clarity and chlorophyll A for the Chesapeake Bay and tidal tributaries. The review was conducted by 10 scientists with four from institutions from outside the Bay watershed. The charge to STAC was to organize a scientific peer review of the report focusing on Appendix A (Designated Uses); Chapters 3-5 on criteria for Dissolved Oxygen, Water Clarity and Chlorophyll, respectively; and Chapter 6 (Implementation Guidelines). Each reviewer was asked to comment on Appendix A, Chapter 6, and one of the criteria chapters.
