Impacts of COVID-19 on Nutrient Dynamics
June 14, 2021 - June 14, 2021The impacts of COVID-19 have played out in many ways across the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed, including affecting nutrient dynamics in the region. This workshop is one of three “mini-workshops” aimed to explore some of these impacts in greater detail, with this session focused on the pandemic’s effect Bay nutrient flows. The goal is to explore lessons learned from the past year and how this might inform management of the Chesapeake Bay going forward, including identifying gaps in monitoring and opportunities to address such gaps. Please join the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) in this virtual effort to better understand the influence of COVID-19 on changing nutrient dynamics and Bay Program management.
