The STAC/STAR workshop on “Innovative Monitoring Approaches” focused on two elements of the BASIN Water Quality Report (expected Feb. 2015) to develop recommendations on 1) innovative applications of new or existing technology, and 2) monitoring network design, while also considering the definition of ‘attainment’ and leveraging the existing and future networks through “hypothesis driven monitoring” design.
