June 2022 STAC Quarterly Meeting

The June 2022 STAC meeting was held on Tuesday, June 14th and Wednesday, June 15th at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster.
The meeting theme was soil health, with presentations highlighting the topic’s relevance to both the urban and ag sectors. There was an optional field trip planned for the afternoon of June 14th for those interested.
- Day 1, Optional field trip: The meeting recessed at 2pm on June 14th for an optional field trip to two nearby locations. The group first visited a local farm operation and then traveled to meet with a farmer taking part in the Conservation District’s manure injection incentive program. The field trip took a total of 2 1/2 hours.
