Management Effects on Water Quality Trends

The purpose of the workshop is to identify improved technical approaches for explaining the effect of management actions, and the degree they are influencing, water-quality changes in the watershed and estuary. The primary objectives of the workshop are to provide recommendations to:

 

(1)    Develop more integrated quantitative approaches that explain water-quality trends in the watershed and estuary, 

(2)    Improve the data sets of the variables (nutrient/sediment sources, land change, management practices) affecting tends, and 

(3)    Enhance the use of models to integrate information needed to help explain trends.
