March 2023 STAC Quarterly Meeting
March 14, 2023 - March 15, 2023The STAC March 2023 Quarterly Meeting was held virtually on March 14th and 15th. The meeting theme was Waterborne Health Risks in our Chesapeake Waters, with presentations and two panels focusing on the topic.
Targeted Outcomes:
- Develop a system-based understanding of the occurrence of human health risks (e.g., in relation to watershed conditions or environmental flow regimes affecting temperature, salinity, redox status, and nutrient status)
- Evaluate whether waterborne health risks are adequately addressed within existing CBP goals, objectives, and management strategies
- Outline critical information/research needs with respect to existing research priorities.
