Chanceé Lundy is a community conscious engineer and co-owner of Nspiregreen LLC a sustainability-consulting planning and design studio based in Washington, DC. Focusing on community planning, multimodal planning and climate change and resiliency planning. Nspiregreen believes in creating healthy and safe communities for all. Chanceé cofounded Nspiregreen LLC in 2009 where she is responsible for leading the company’s environmental practice. She has spearheaded projects providing technical support and/ or public outreach services to environmental clients on projects such as the District’s Comprehensive Energy Plan, Solid Waste Management Study, and Consolidated TMDL Implementation (Stormwater Management) Plan. Prior to starting Nspiregreen, she worked in the manufacturing industry as an Air Quality Specialist where she led teams to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ensured regulatory compliance, and managed other environmental media programs. She is passionate about preventing and reducing environmental inequities.

Chanceé Lundy received her Masters in Civil Engineering (Environmental Concentration) from Florida State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Water Environment Federation, Women’s Transportation Seminar, and National Society of Black Engineers and is Mayoral Appointee to the Chesapeake Bay Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee. She is the founder of Destination Liberation an organization that provides experiential learning opportunities to girls of color through international travel and is the author of It’s Just High School: Inspiring Reflections of the Beauty, Pain, and Pressure of High School Life.
