Dr. Runge is a Research Ecologist who focuses on the use of decision theory and population modeling to inform natural resource management, primarily in collaboration with Federal management agencies. He has worked on projects with migratory birds, National Wildlife Refuges, endangered species, and marine mammals. He helped develop the Structured Decision Making curriculum at the National Conservation Training Center.
