Graham

Dr. Ted Graham has over 35 years of experience planning, implementing and managing water, wastewater & stormwater programs. He is currently responsible for coordinating the regional water resources planning program for local governments and utilities in the Washington, DC area. This involves various aspects of the area’s water quality, stormwater, wastewater, and water supply programs. Major program focus is on the restoration of the Anacostia Watershed and regional participation in the Chesapeake Bay Program, including membership on the Bay program’s Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee. Previously, he directed Montgomery County Maryland’s Department of Environmental Protection which included oversight for the county’s stormwater, solid waste, environmental enforcement and development permitting programs. He also held several management positions at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission in Laurel, MD, including section head for Water Resources Planning and Assistant to the General Manager.
Dr. Graham has a Ph.D. in systems engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Maryland and Virginia. Among other organizations, he is a member of the Water Environment Federation, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. He is President of the Board of the American Chestnut Land Trust in Calvert County, Maryland.
