The Chesapeake Community Research Symposium brings together managers, scientists, and stakeholders for a series of plenary talks, panel discussions, and special sessions to highlight recent progress, challenges and prospects for research, monitoring and modeling efforts that are used to guide management and restoration efforts in Chesapeake Bay.

Chesapeake Community Research Symposium 2024

The Chesapeake Community Modeling Program will convene the 2024 edition of our biennial symposium June 10-12, 2024 in Annapolis, Maryland and online. The theme of the 2024 symposium is Chesapeake Bay Restoration: Managing Water Quality for Living Resources in a Changing Climate. Chesapeake Community Research Symposium 2022

CRC and the Chesapeake Community Modeling Program convened the 2022 edition of our biennial symposium June 6-8, 2022. The title of this year’s symposium was Chesapeake Bay Restoration, Resilience, and Reflection: Progress and Future Challenges. Chesapeake Community Research Symposium 2020

CCMP and CRC successfully held their biennial symposium, the Chesapeake Community Research Symposium 2020 virtually in June. The theme of the symposium was Chesapeake Bay Research and Management: Progress and Future Challenges. It highlighted recent progress, challenges, and prospects for research, monitoring and modeling efforts that are used to guide management and restoration efforts in the Chesapeake Bay. The symposium more than doubled previous years’ attendance with 495 participants and over 130 presentations over four days.
