Bio :	Bianca Martinez Penn joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium as an Environmental Management Staffer for the Communications Team in 2024. Bianca is responsible for creating high quality web content for the Bay Program website that supports the work of the partnership, preparing communication and marketing materials, and supporting administrative needs. Bianca is a 2023 graduate of the University of Miami from where she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with minors in Marine Policy and Sustainable Business. Before joining full time, Bianca held a position as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice Intern with the CstREAM program at the CRC. Bianca was born and raised in Takoma Park, Maryland and grew up spending summers in Bethany Beach, Delaware. The combination of city and beach town living has formed her love for activities such as snorkeling, exploring new restaurants, visiting museums, and going for long walks on the beach.
