Julia Fucci

Bio :	Julia Fucci joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2025, as an Environmental Management Staffer with the Resiliency Workgroup. In this position, Julia is responsible for the coordination of workshop efforts such as organization and documentation of group meetings, assisting in developing and updating changing environmental condition indicators, and helping to connect changing environmental condition information and resources with stakeholder needs. Julia is a 2022 graduate of Drexel University, where she earned her bachelor’s in environmental studies, and in 2024 she completed her master's in sustainability management from American University. Before working with the CRC, Julia completed an internship with altafiber in Ohio, working on the company's Greenhouse gas emissions accounting and completing projects that reduced emissions and tracked positive changes. In addition, she has also worked as an intern with Art Sphere, inc. in Philadelphia creating educational environmental content for all ages. Julia was born and raised in Maryland and currently lives in the Baltimore area. When she is not at work, Julia can be found reading, hiking, or learning to crochet.
