Bio :	Marisa Baldine joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2020, as the Environmental Management Staffer to the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Communications Office. Marisa will manage the Communications Workgroup, create content for the Chesapeake Bay Program website, and assist with the creation and implementation of social media content. Marisa graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2014. Marisa has a wide range of experience in projects focusing on everything from environmental education to urban farming and small business support. Marisa has a background in business management, event planning, and graphic design. She is passionate about connecting people with nature and is excited to share her passion for sustainability with others. Marisa was born and raised in Washington, DC and has always loved the outdoors. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, and block printing.
