The Chesapeake Research Consortium encourages and facilitates collaborative research and education initiatives throughout the region and, from these activities, serves to inform the management community and effectively foster improved science-based management of the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. CRC comprises numerous other staff who coordinate and assist the important work of both CRC itself and the Chesapeake Bay Program. CRC staff are located either at the Chesapeake Research Consortium’s office nestled within the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center’s campus in Edgewater, MD or are embedded within the Chesapeake Bay Program offices in Annapolis, MD.
